About Me!
Hi, I’m Shayla ♡ Just a tiny human with way too many little interests and a soft spot for pretty things. I love movies, anime, K-pop, Formula 1, MotoGP, games, and anything that can make an ordinary day feel a little more special.
Most of the time, I’m probably replaying the same song, thinking about a movie scene for way too long, or getting excited over something completely random. This little page is basically my cozy corner on the internet — filled with things I love, little obsessions, and tiny pieces of my everyday life.

Three People I Keep Coming Back to
Different worlds, different stories, different reasons. Still, somehow, each of them carries a little something that feels familiar to me— the kind of presence that quietly stays, even after the song ends, the race is over, or the screen fades to black.

Jeon Wonwoo
There’s a quiet kind of warmth in him that never feels forced. Soft-spoken, a little reserved, a little nerdy, and somehow comforting without even trying. He feels like a familiar song on a slow afternoon — simple, gentle, and always easy to return to. My eternal love.

OP81: Oscar Piastri
Calm in a world that moves impossibly fast. There’s something so charming about how composed he is, even when everything around him is loud, chaotic, and moving at full speed. Maybe that contrast is what makes him so fun to watch — quiet on the outside, but always chasing something just a little faster.

Hong Kyung
He has this soft, thoughtful presence that makes even the smallest scenes feel like they mean something. There’s always a little distance, a little tenderness, and something quietly emotional in the way he carries a character. The kind of actor who leaves a feeling behind, long after the story has already moved on.
Somewhere I’d
Love to Be
Edinburgh, Scotland — a city of old stone streets, misty mornings, quiet cafés, and castles that look like they belong in a storybook.
There’s something about its grey skies, warm lights, and timeless little corners that feels almost unreal. The kind of place I’d love to wander through slowly, with nowhere to rush to and everything still waiting to be discovered.
A Dream in Melodies
Someday, I’d love to be part of an orchestra — surrounded by strings, warm lights, quiet rehearsals, and music that slowly fills an entire room.
There’s something beautiful about creating something together, where every little note has its place. A life with music, calm mornings, and enough time to enjoy things slowly sounds pretty lovely to me.
A few things that feel a little like me
Six little pieces of my world — the stories, sounds, races, pages, and thoughts I somehow keep coming back to.
Movies I could talk about for way too long
I love horror, thriller, action, and rom-coms, basically anything that can make me tense, excited, emotional, or completely invested for two hours. I like movies that leave a strong atmosphere behind, and The Godfather and The Outsiders are two films I always end up coming back to.
Race weekends I never really get tired of
Formula 1 can easily become the main event of my weekend. I love McLaren and Red Bull, and Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen are always the two drivers I pay the most attention to. The speed is fun, but I also love the strategy, tension, rivalries, and all the tiny moments that can completely change a race.
MotoGP and all the beautiful little chaos in it
MotoGP feels fast, close, unpredictable, and somehow impossible to look away from. Fabio Quartararo is one of my favorite riders, and I’ve always had a soft spot for Honda too. There’s something about how intense every lap feels that makes it so easy to get completely absorbed in it.
Songs that feel better after midnight
I mostly listen to R&B, rap, synth-pop, and anything with that dreamy late-night-drive feeling. I love music that feels atmospheric, warm, a little melancholic, and somehow cinematic. Keshi, The 1975, Fly By Midnight, Drake, and Brent Faiyaz are some of the artists I keep coming back to.
Fantasy worlds I could happily disappear into
Fantasy is probably the easiest genre for me to get lost in. I love old worlds, long journeys, strange places, and stories that feel much bigger than everyday life. The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings are some of my favorites because they make everything feel a little more magical for a while.
Little thoughts I like turning into words
I love writing on Medium — poetry, poems, quiet thoughts, little feelings, and whatever stays in my head long enough to become something worth writing down. Sometimes it’s poetic, sometimes simple, but I like turning small thoughts into words I can come back to later.
A few sides of me
Different little pieces, somehow all belonging to the same person.

The Dreamer
Always imagining places, possibilities, and little versions of what someday could look like.

The Writer
Turning thoughts, feelings, and things left unsaid into words whenever they stay a little too long.

The Wanderer
Curious about unfamiliar streets, faraway cities, and whatever might be waiting somewhere I haven’t been yet.
A little more to wander through
There are still a few little corners left — things I’ve made, words I’ve written, and pieces of my world waiting just below.
Little notes & longer thoughts
Little words I keep close
Tiny sentences for quiet days, little dreams, and all the moments in between — the kind of words that somehow feel softer when you need them most.

“Not everything beautiful has to happen quickly. Some things take their time becoming what they’re meant to be, and maybe that doesn’t make them late at all. Maybe it just means they needed a little more time to bloom.”
— take your time

“There will always be days when everything feels uncertain, but that doesn’t mean you’re standing still. Sometimes moving forward looks quiet — a tiny decision, a small attempt, or simply choosing to keep going when no one else can see it.”
— keep going softly

“There are still so many places I haven’t seen, people I haven’t met, songs I haven’t heard, and little versions of myself I haven’t become yet. I think that’s enough reason to stay curious about whatever comes next.”
— there’s more ahead
